i just love books with very weird ideas.

even if the concepts presented are untrue.

but they're intriguing!

which adds haruki murakami to my list of favourite authors.

which is tom holt if anybody cares to even be curious about it.

anyway i'm now also addicted to the game of onimusha.

which beats practically every other game hands down for the story.

the best part is that the roles of light and dark are reversed; that is to say, dark is good and light is bad. try to imagine an evil person shouting, "be prepared to face the power of light!" (yes the bad guy does shout that in the game) strange but refreshing isn't it. trust capcom to break the stereotyping of light=good and dark=bad.

now i know what you're thinking. you're probably saying like, "danny, those are useless things. they do not enhance your survival and neither do they increase your knowledge. heck, these things don't even cultivate good and critical thinking habits!"

man. this is how crude reality can be. and yet i'm fully aware of all the things mentioned above. but being the stubborn one (as usual), i hold on to the belief (which is quite true) that one grows old to sacrifice lots of personal leisure time. especially when you have commitments along the way. and commitments are just everywhere. which kind of sucks. yea in a way you can call me selfish bastard (somehow i always end up here don't i). but as i always say, each individual lives only for his or herself. no more, no less. on a side note it is kind of saddening isn't it. you always have to give and take. or rather, you always must give and take. give or take everything and you'll tire out fast. and there is no such thing as giving and taking everything. a space for everything, my law says.

anyway back to the topic. the ideas i gain from reading those books count towards my personal leisure. in a way it humours the mind. it also helps in creating a paranormal reality that i can easily switch with actual reality to de-stress. it was effective. until halfway through my jc days. the jaws of reality just clamps over you like a vice. coupled with limited ideas left to run my paranormal reality, the stress just builds up exponentially. which leads me here to type out everything i had thought of so as to save my mind from frying up.

speaking about humouring the mind. i thought back to that anthropology question i posted awhile ago: why do humans create and enjoy humour and music? and i've decided. i do not want to know why. because if the answer surfaces now, all humour and music will lose their purpose. it'll be explainable by science. and that kills all flavours of the two elements.

oh heck. i should start my own line of stories with danny's simple but yet complex ideas. full time. and i feel pretty sure. i'll go bankrupt if i do that. ha!

you better stick with playing the trumpet 'ole boy.

i'm seriously getting more and more freaked out by things that are happening around.

absolutely crazy.

too much of a coincidence, really.

doesn't help when i had attended a concert in which richard strauss' death and transfiguration was played.
