futurology seems very appealing to me now.

currently reading a website with chunks of information.

information about almost everything you can ever imagine of.

knowledge boundaries so vast that makes you scared.

and of course.

these belong to the tip of the iceberg.

oh. my. gawd.

i really do not know how to think, let alone react, after reading all of that.

then again ignorance is a bliss.

one question found inside bugs me though.

life becomes much more adventurous when you take chances!

yes i know this is so cliche.

but since thursday night i've had adventure after adventure!

disclaimer: cryptic post below as i do not want any bastards trying to draw direct conclusions and ultimately decide to have us charged. and of course code names will be used. as much as i need to cover my friends' asses, i have to cover mine too.

ok so on thursday we had this parade to signify that life is going to be slack (or for want of a better word, slacker) and we decided that the supposedly 10-course dinner wasn't filling enough for us. so therefore we came up with a quest to get out of camp to have some selegie tau-huay. so the csm (i mentioned before: coy storemen) and medics have brought it upon ourselves to test our elusiveness by going out in the cover of the shadows. furthermore we have finished using our privileges.

ok so we reached the big gate and found out they were doing BLACKOUT DRILL (i don't know what it is about but the only thing i can infer from the guard's actions was they want to stop movement in and out of the big gate due to a power failure. guess what? the big gate is manually operated). and of course we had a perfect view of the bus at the bus stop while we were waiting for the drill to finish. no surprises here. we missed the bus. thus having to walk 2km to the bus stop outside the bigbig gate.

we've finished our tau-huay at the shop and were walking to the bus stop when we saw the bus at the bus stop like 200m away from us. the great 200m dash ensued despite our bloated stomachs and we collapsed on the bus with stitches in our sides. again, not surprised with the outcome of events.

walking past the big gate, C, a fellow csm, spotted a white colour car zooming out of the small gate. and that was one of the masters. with a bit of smooth reflexes and quick thinking, we decided to act like we are from a different place and did the not-so-great 15m dash into the dark (read as pitch-black) path leading to the different place. immediately we were reminded of our stitches. but it was a small price to pay. the white car zoomed past peacefully.

back at coy line, Y, medic, discovered that his pass was missing! we concluded he dropped it at the not-so-great 10m dash and went back to look for it. thankfully it was there.

friday afternoon, we were walking back from lunch to coy line. at the lao-jiao block, this guy decided to stop us and told us to get 3 from the masters. all because we did not pay our compliments to him. but for people who jump the gun like him, he did not linger around to hear us compliment him on his camouflage. he blended so well that we were oblivious to his presence. and now, the 3 is still pending from the master, although ~~i think~~ it will be waived off.

oh man.

i have a feeling there will be more adventures coming up.

and i don't know if it is good or bad.
