feeling slightly better...

today went to school only because i had to pass philwinds tickets to miss hoo. otherwise cannot claim money back. so cheapo sia. must have the tickets as proof of purchase. isn't the invoice proof of purchase? so troublesome. and have totally nothing to say about nac.

so i stayed in the bandroom the whole day. trying to rest and everything. ended up practising instead. and playing mahjong and bridge while resting my lips. the rests didn't do much difference. i think i exhausted myself out. but lucky tomorrow's individuals. not so bad.

went to parkway swensen's for this $3 ice cream thingy with yap linz and chris. saw tonnes other vj people there. as well as a bunch of vs teachers. and we were sitting next to them. how fun. and i know i shouldn't be eating ice cream when i'm down with flu. but i just have to have some. haha. well that's about it for a boring day today...

just came back from my performance.

wasn't too bad i feel. don't really consider it fantastic. because we only played after the intermission. so only got half the impact. haha ok i'm crapping.

overall playing with philwinds had been fun. whole new experience. the pieces played were those that i can never imagine myself playing. haha. hm and met jieyuan and a primary school classmate whom i've never see for very long, cuiyin. they are with philyouth. cool. philyouth not bad as well. but i think their pieces are so much more fun! slava sounded fun... hahaha.

oh and i love the encore piece we played! serenade by derek don't-know-what. so cute! especially the ending. hahah.

hm after that i went with vj band peeps and great minds to laupasat eat. then go home le. anyway thanks to all those who came! let's see, there's thiam kee, alvin, roy, zhiyuan, cheonghing, waiyip, shujing, weejuay, cheryl, a few vscb juniors (haha can't remember all). just wanna let you all know your attendance was greatly appreciated! and oh my family too!

ook great minds started playing neopets. haha. now trying to influence people to play.

i think i'm abit unable to think properly now. but i still can think of the previous sentence. doesn't that make me able to think properly. ah ok i think i'm seriously crapping.

don't really have the energy to blog.

but shall try.

well today had band prac. laoshi took trumpet section for sectionals today. an eye-opener. the way he explained the music. was, erm, beautiful? in a way. haha. my respect for him has just grown deeper. don't know how many tonnes of years of music experience. can only listen in awe. haha. ok that sounds abit spastic? but i don't care. haha.

hm then after lunch went down to dhs. apparently got some exchange between dhs cchms and tkss, but nooooo... it was dhs cchms and yckss. if its tkss then maybe xumao can like 'smuggle' me and himself in to listen to the bands. 'cause his brother is in tkss and quite influential? can help fake that we are tkss alumni or what. haha. for me i wanted to listen to cchms play. 'cause wenrong was like going on and on and on and on (and on and on...) about their choice piece. haha. anyway no tkss, so me and xumao have to go home. but quite lucky in a way? 'cause apparently lookit was there also. later he expose me unknowingly. will be super embarassing. hm yea. haha. well basically that's just about it for today lo.

i'm on an eating spree again. had 2 packets of instant noodles for dinner. and i still feel like eating. then my mom bought this dragon beard sweet (is it called that in english? haha). super nice! its like melt in the mouth one lo. and the flour is like so fine. but then super expensive la. i ate one packet (containing 3), my mom cried out, "$9 gone le!". so was like super what the hell. haha. oh well i shall finish the bread and the muffins my mom made.

ok this sucks i'm still in holiday mood. wake up wake up!!!

hm philwinds concert tomorrow. wish me luck. should be fine ba. haha. have to wear blazer white bowtie everything. so troublesome. but lucky i only have to bring cornet.

so irritating.

typed a very long post just now. then my internet explorer hang. everything gone.

ok this few days quite boring.

tuesday went school to settle some stuff. went to and fro. then me and jessie went junlong's house to play mahjong and ps2. play ps2 with them i feel very lousy la. keep losing. except in marvel vs capcom. gambit owns! then puzzle fighter and the rest i lose like don't know what la. haha.

yesterday and today was supposed to be o2. well i can't say what i did. feel so bad. but yesterday had band prac so not so boring. today junlong, chenghuat and lester came down to my house. played games all the way. watched return of the kings. sian diao. played monopoly also. luck super down lo. lost like mad. haha. and no i'm not lousy.

now there's this jiao shuang craze in the band. started by our very own batch chao ji joker: junlong! along with that we're playing pictionary as well. haha fun!

ok can't think of anything else to blog. so that's it for this post.

i'm back again.

went out in the afternoon to get a haircut. when i reach there got tonnes of people lo. but luckily the boss let me cut queue. 'cause i'm his regular. haha. so i jumped in front of about 7 people's turn. then i bought lunch back for my mom and brother. wanted to go ntuc to buy more foodstuff but decided not to. too lazy to carry so much stuff.

anyway today's tv day for me! after my lunch i watched this show called 'word with honour' on hallmark. the plot was very simple. about this group of soldiers who swore an oath not to say anything about some event that happened during the vietnam war. but one of them broke the oath, and wanted to set up the leader of the group. so he twisted some facts which were later publicised. so the leader had to clear things up. kind of touching at the end when he said the oath was to protect the reputation of the country and his men. that pretty much wraps up the movie.

ok just had dinner. tv marathon not over yet. should be watching lord of the rings later?

need to transpose 'endless rain'. i wanna play it for majestia! just need 2 clarinetists...

so fast school reopens. officially.

continuation from previous post
went back vj to collect my trumpet before going down to vs. went out for dinner with thiam kee, weixiang and edmund. practised abit. saw alot of unexpected faces. total there was me, thiam kee, terence, anwar, alvin, roy (surprise), yonghan (double surprise), xuanwei, xiangjie, weixiang, edmund, weekiat, zhenghua, jeffrey, jonathan. then went to classroom for solowalk briefing plus movie and stories all those stuff. watched shutter. not bad. they left the story hanging at the end. added suspense. oh ya 'it' is over too. hm then played abit of mahjong then went to the hall checkpoint. which was nonsense. tonnes of seniors there. not scary de lo. made the juniors do some lame stuff. hm then didn't sleep much too. only slept half an hour. then don't know who wake me up ask me play bridge. then i play lo. throughout the game was so blur. went to bathe after that then pia off to ntu.

reach ntu feeling super sian. had ensemble practice in which we did nothing except to plough through our parts for the pieces. i think we're getting sso players as tutors. but now they're overseas. so not fun. combine was slightly better. played this very nice soothing piece (with its share of tension in it) called the ocean i think. and according to yi qing it is rgs band syf piece. cool. compare el camino real to ocean. i'd pick ocean.

ok then went home and saw this ice-cream man outside my house. bought ice-cream with bread. super nice! haha damn long never eat. but i shouldn't have ate mentos before that. couldn't really differentiate the flavours. ok then slept for another half hour. my mom woke me up for dinner. how nice. then was like cannot go back to sleep. so took a bath. and just stayed awake for the rest of the day.

so that was 2 days gone. just like that. the whole holiday came and went in the same manner too. but i can't deny this was the best term holiday i had in my whole life so far. haha.

chao long never update. here's what happened since monday:

140505 vjcsb chalet
went to watch spongebob movie with alvin, junlong, waiyip, shaun, jessie, jien, peixun. kinda crappy movie. lame like nobody's business la. then junlong and shaun were like singing the goofy gooper thingy. haha. went to the chalet after that. played abit of pool, then arcade games. guanyee danced some para para game, all of us laughing. but he's not bad lo. haha. played mahjong and cycled for the whole night. didn't really get to sleep at all. ok that's the next day.

150505 vjcsb intensive practice day 1
as stated didn't really get to sleep the previous day. we went back to bandroom to try sleep. but was useless. people were like talking very loudly. i ended up following their conversation while closing my eyes that's all. then there was band prac. can't really concentrate. but the worst thing was what happened after lunch: cleanup. tire me out even more. my section only had a few people packing after jaslyn and jessie went home because they were sick. then our pace was like super pathetic. sweating like dunno what lo. but in the end i left early also. to send visaruth off. he's going to thailand to study. wish you all the best man. must come back and visit us!

160505 vjcsb intensive practice day 2
had sectionals for the morning half. attendance was pathetic, only 5 people present. then something happened. the whole section became very sian. ok then there was combine after lunch. tried out fantasy variations. i hate cornet 1. irritating parts here and there. but its still a wonderful piece written by james barnes. band prac ended and we went to citylink to shop for sp presents. we were there for about 3 hours la. reached home about 2200+.

sectionals in morning again. got more people this time. much more fun. mervin went through fantasy variations. and i discovered i don't like the cornet 1 part even more. haha. sectionals ended and had to put up some skit in groups, reveal sp. then i shall not talk about what happened in the afternoon. only thing i will say is its called urban hike, and super embarrassing although its kinda fun as well. oh ya my group got tianyu, jeffrey, me (duh), auch, timothy, simeng, jiejun, elinor and xinhui. can say we were kinda efficient. hah.

ok today's plan would be for me to go collect my instrument at vjc, then go down vs band camp. will be staying overnight with thiam kee there. maybe alvin too. clear up some stuff. then next day go straight to sywo prac. hope i can tahan. now have to go pack my stuff le.

i'm kinda obvious.

woah.

today was band d&d. chao ji tiring.

firstly i started my day by skipping lessons for the whole day. then went parkway to help logistics get stuff. got deathnote 5 as well. the conflict inside gets more and more interesting. plus more and more complicated. haha.

hm anyway d&d started out 45minutes late. 'cause by the time we got back to school it was like 1500hours. then have to move tables, blow up balloons everything. so when we start was like about 1600+. had games. the whole band split into 6 groups. then have to send people out. for example they say 'longest' then we have to send somebody with the longest something. but they will reveal what it is when we sent our representative out. so we had shortest middle finger, highest pitch (i won! haha crap), longest foot, darkest eyebrow, and sexiest voice (i can't believe my group pushed me out for this). then had some pocky stick thingy. must pass around using mouth. that was disgusting. then the stupid bonus rounds. totally nothing to say.

ok then there was this beauty pageant. even more lame. have to dress up a guy from the group as the model. somehow they chose me again. haiz. but by some miracle i won. the people dressed up were me, farhan, benjamin, ashraf, lester and guanyee. all were comical. i can only remember myself blushing alot.

a play followed up, and i found myself acting in it as half props manager and half mutilator. was kind of impromtu, especially my role. people were like asking me what i am supposed to do. haha. had dinner, then mass dance! yay i love mass dance. lead the dances with timothy. apparently i cocked up during 'i want you'. somehow i did the moves to 'whiney whiney' during the last chorus. laughed my head off. haha.

d&d ended after that. as stated, was super tired. and there's band prac tomorrow.

ok time to update...

monday was full day off. dismissed right after assembly. how cool is that. mrs chan told us not to go home sleep; she wanted us to go around singapore in our school uniform and celebrate instead. some walking advertisement. haha. well watched hitch with band people. pretty crappy. and not exactly very nice. ending was like super standard de. not fun. hm then later walked around and me andrew alvin lester met up with jessie jien peiying and took neoprints. lester didn't want to take. so not fun. then farhan joined in and we had 2nd round of taking. then went home le. oh ya i got my valve guard too. but currently cannot use. 'cause when i put it on, my trumpet cannot fit into the case. haiz. have to wait for my new case. slowly wait.

yesterday guanyee introduced this paper crane thingy to us. for every paper crane we fold it is worth 100g of rice donated to some charity organisaion. so almost everybody's folding it now. and guanyee keeps supplying us with crappy pieces of paper la. not perfect square de. haha but without him we will have no paper to fold with. so i cannot be so bad and call him lousy.

today band prac was bad. for me at least. my endurance was all time low today. haiz. and mentally not really there. ended up making tonnes of noise. ok this shall not happen again.

i'm sooo tired...

today's supposedly victorians day.

but like no difference. performed to almost nobody. then vs alumni no need to perform. 'cause there was literally nobody left when its our time to perform. and the performances were totally crap.

during breaks we had some funny photoshoots. waiting for andrew to send... daniel looks great in the photots. haha.

after everything wanted to go watch movie. but everywhere the movies with convenient time slots were like sold out. plus walked around for damn long. and i was wearing leather shoes and carrying my trumpet around. feet pain arm strain. hm let me recall who's there: daniel, jieshi, linz, terence, thiam kee, jaslyn, jiejun. tk seriously has some mental disorder now. going 'abit' mad. he was calling linz a big light, ter hopeless, laughing at jiejun's kiddie pic. and busy lowering temperatures everywhere. now even i can't tahan la. haha.

hm anyway i'm hoping for a half day-- or even a full day off for this coming monday! apparently the 'a' results are good. then can make up for the movie i missed today. heh.

ook.

this week was quite tiring. don't know why i feel so tired even sleeping at 2200hours almost every day this week.

i'm seriously lagging in my work. pon quite a few lectures this week. projectile motion, geometric progressions, blah blah. ok so now i'm gonna clear my work starting from sunday.

why not tomorrow, that's because tomorrow is victorian day. some mass gathering. yea. the band's performing. vs alumni band as well. but mervin's not free tomorrow. first love~addicted to you solo (duet) won't be fun le. haiz. can't make edmund look small. haha. but i'll try.

i'm not really in the mood to blog, but...

i have thought about it since your text came. and i'm really sorry to say i can't get it out. its my bad that we're in this state. i do not have good reasons to explain why. i felt that the line was drawn some time in december last year. but it was until recently then i realised fully. you will not buy this i guess. i don't know what you'll make of this too.

ook. i've said what i want. i'll get on with life. but i'll remember fondly of all that has happened. since 2002. now its up to you; i'll just follow your decision.
