again.

i wonder why i get the urge to blog now.

and it seems like i get the urge to blog when i'm feeling emotionally unstable (well that includes both happy and sad and blah blah; depends how you define unstable) nowadays.

but i've decided.

blogs are not outlets for personal misery.

ok at least public blogs aren't.

not that i have a private one though.

haha, now you're curious, trying to guess whether i have a private blog.

but if you think i have, go ahead and try to find it.

if you do find one,

i'll take away the privilege from you. (refer to tagboard)

but that's if you do find one. (refer to 5 lines above)

anyway after much backlogging, i discovered i make myself sick with some of the posts haha.

so no more whining or whatsoever.

a word of many thanks...

... to all those who wished me a happy birthday via word of mouth or sms

... of course not forgetting presents, they're wonderful

... and to those who tried to put up some show to surprise me but failed (haha oops! sorry!)

... for a beautiful night of music, although there was pretty heavy rain

... in which i must mention how 2-3 guys meeting up has by far the greatest efficiency

... for those who want to grab the last few minutes of today to wish me happy birthday after reading this blog post (haha)

... that's inclusive of any belated wishes

... i'm fine with anything

... even if you don't wish me at all

... as long as you remember a friend called danny (yea that's me)

i wonder again.

but nevermind.

inspiration flows non-stop for now.

time for a few thought provoking sentences.

the most experienced has seen the extreme of the other side.

the strongest are the weakest.

never think of 'don't'. it has a negative impact. let's say, don't think of a pink elephant with blue polka dots. what fills your mind?

the human speech is a powerful booster, as well as a weapon. it can be used on, or against yourself. similarly it applies to usage on, or against other people.

how the world looks at you depends on how you look at yourself.

and of course my favourite, be happy!

woho...

long time no see, blog...

nice to see you again!

ok today's a pretty interesting sunday. because i went out today!

masterclass by james watson was cool. met xuanwei there. some pretty interesting teachings. especially 'tasting' the note and such. lol watson's and hyken's teaching style pretty much the same. like teacher like student eh.

then met up with weixiang to check out some conservatories in australia. so far we've looked at about 4:
1) griffifth university: good climate, moderate fees and cost of living, scholarships covers only partial tuition fees. not bad.
2) the university of adelaide: wider range of climate than 1), cheapest fees and cost of living, basic requirement of 3 As in GCE 'A' levels to get scholarship, scholarship can cover as much as the full tuition fees. by far the most attractive to me.
3) the university of newcastle: the guy at the booth sucks, totally no scholarships too. not attractive at all.
4) the university of sydney (is it called that? lol): according to weixiang it has the most expensive fees and cost of living. that's all i know for now.

well next had to meet linz for sso brass extravaganza. simply amazing. enough said. timpani guy jonathan fox is superb too. their sounds are still ringing in my head.

ok i'm losing focus here. shall just leave this entry like this.

no urge to study though. already in partying mood.

somehow i feel more confident for promos than mid-years. although i rarely did serious studying since september holidays.

the heck care attitude coming back. haha.

ok my attention span is getting shorter and shorter these few days.

only like one hour of chemistry i'm breaking away.

and its even more evident during chinese today. usually my concentration allows me to complete the paper within one hour or so. now i finish the paper with just barely 5 minutes to spare. not enough time for a good nap. blah.

ok shall attempt going back to chem.
