vjcsb gold with honours!

darn proud of them.

and the rest of this post shall be used to flame the paid ushers for the syf.

THEY SUCK.

NO SENSE OF PROFESSIONALISM.

CAN'T EVEN ANNOUNCE THINGS PROPERLY.

NOT PUTTING UP 'QUEUE UP' SIGNS AND THEN BLAME US FOR CROWDING AROUND FOR TICKETS.

ASKING US TO SHUT UP WHEN BANDS ARE PERFORMING AND I SPIED 2 OF THEM GIGGLING AND GOSSIPING AT ANOTHER CORNER AT THAT EXACT MOMENT.

ASKING US TO EVACUATE IN THE MOST UNCOUTH TONE OF VOICE.

well if anybody has anymore to add please throw in some communication signals (or comments -.-) at the bottom right corner of this post. =)

yes i know what time it is.

and oh please don't give me that look.

i'm preparing for work tomorrow!

and yes. tiring myself out counts as preparation.

ok but i'm just here not to show off my glamorous work scope.

i'm here because i'm needed.

like saving the world for instance.

because once again, time has improved her illusion skills.

and thus the impact that time actually travels fast is actually damn freaking strong when you unveil the truth behind the facade of slowness.

yes i know, at this time of the year many (working) people find it hard to pass each day as the same thing (some people call it shit) happens day after day. and this experience, my friends, is proof that we're getting older. like the saying that goes: young people experience short days but long years; old people experience long days but short years. but what the heck, we (meaning my batch of 88) have not even hit the age of 20! we have not even hit this thing called mid-life crisis! so where the hell is 20 categorized under? i say 20 should be still in the young category, since we have not reached 'mid-life', but does this time era agree? hell no. imagine if you live to the age of 90, that equates to 70 years worth of long days. so [insert your belief here] is telling me that i am born into this world to go through all this agonising shit?

ok i realised i'm abit unfair in the previous paragraph. we have to account for the happy long days too. but realistically, what is the percentage that is covered by the happy long days? let's define the word 'happy' first shall we. 'happy long day' here shall refer to a day with memorable and satisfying events which puts meaning into being alive. so in view of that, i say the percentage is almost always less than 50%. (although there are always lucky people in the world) which is still quite bad. 70 halved into 35. wow is wow, but 35 years worth of long days is still no joke. it's more than enough to drive somebody mad.

so the scales still show that life is unbalanced. towards the dark side.

on a side note, i read in the straits times not long ago that there was this term coined by the journalist called quarter-life crisis. perhaps this is what i'm (hopefully i'm speaking for some other people too =p) going through now. by comparing quarter-life crisis to mid-life crisis, i'll say quarter-life crisis is slightly more tedious to handle. bah i know what some of you are thinking, saying there's lots more time after 20 to pick up if one cannot handle quarter-life crisis (which this idiot blogging believes it exists) but like i said time doesn't agree that 20 is a young age anymore. it is during this period where one has to make (i'd say the toughest) choices. take the typical jc students for instance. most of them don't know what they want to accomplish in life. suddenly they are given choices. quite stressful. worse still some people follow their peers only to find out that they don't like the course they chose. that's why sometimes i think, i should have just went straight to study what i really want to study and heck the jc path. and be exposed to the real world immediately. instead of being tricked by the nice (but deviously trapped) pathway to who-knows-where-it'll-take-me. ok i shouldn't complain all that much, since i didn't exactly waste my time in jc because i got myself a cert in the end; and i know it'll at least be of some use later on.

moving on. this is the crucial time where a person can either progress or regress. whatever choices made now will most probably stick with the person until retirement. some get lucky and realise wrong choices earlier. thankfully the latter happens most of the time. however given the competition all around it is damning hard to make the change. but what most of them do they persevere all their way through. and become successful.

so the moral of the story: determination and perseverance, otherwise known as putting in the effort for hard work, will pull us through life?

perhaps.

but hell no for me. and i say, for you too.

like i said, i have a world to save.

my world.

and i want my world to be brimming with happiness.

does working hard, gritting teeth, straining muscles, pushing mental limits bring happiness?

satisfaction of work done yes.

so danny, you better freaking hell know what you really want to do.

think carefully and choose well.

or i shall smack you upside down.

FINALLY THE DAMNED BROADBAND IS UP.

bloody hell computer without internet is damn shit.

hear that DAMN SHIT.

and the worst part is getting people to fix it.

the call itself to them lasts about 1 hour.

the wait for the linesman to come takes more than 1 week.

within that time period is many many multiplayer sessions online with people who get to book out! (finally =p)

but ok its finally up so i should not complain anymore.

anyway nothing is new, just that i slept lesser at camp.

but mostly still revolving around sleep.

and i caught this movie called 200 pounds beauty.

some interesting perspective.

and i can't stand watching that movie! the actress seriously looks like tracy.

haha.

ok i shall need to be off blogger so as to catch up with my other internet activities.

bye!
